Dr. Dan is the co-founder and clinical director of Experience Camps: For The Adults (FTA).

These weekends include activities like sharing circles, campfires, and other fun camp activities, plus authentic connection with other adults impacted by loss in a safe and supportive space.

For therapists and counselors. Dr. Wolfson has provided continuing education to mental health professionals in settings including schools, hospitals, community mental health centers, and private group practices. His most popular training focuses on providing a framework for understanding acute and integrated grief as well as how to support grieving clients/ students in their process of adaptation to loss.

Incorporating PGD Principles in Clinical Work at Columbia University Center for Prolonged Grief.

In this presentation, Dr. Dan Wolfson will highlight how the principles and practices of Prolonged Grief Treatment (PGT) can be utilized proactively with any grieving client to support the process of adaptation to loss and help protect against some of the complications that might otherwise lead to Prolonged Grief Disorder (PGD).

Healing Beats Workshop

Research shows that drumming with others can help lower feelings of stress and anxiety, and increase the sense of community and connection among participants.

This interactive workshop led by Brendan Finnegan utilizes drumming and rhythm to better understand emotion and facilitate emotional processing. It has been adapted for children, adults, and professionals in a range of community and academic settings.
